What it costs
Every price, on one page.
Most people in this trade make you ring up to find out. Knowing before you get in touch saves us both an awkward phone call.
I’m not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay. The number on the page is the number on the invoice. No setup fees. No contracts on the monthly plans. No auto-renewal you have to remember to cancel – your plan stops at the end of the month you say so. Pay for a year up front and it is 10% off: eleven months for twelve. Same plan, same terms, you can still stop.

With Essentials care, first year all in: £2,040.
-
A proper website
£2,500 one-off
Ten or so pages, a page for each service, enquiry or booking flows, and your Google listing sorted.
With Standard care, first year all in: £3,640.
-
An online shop
From £4,000 one-off
Taking payments, products, stock, delivery. Up to 25 products loaded, one payment provider and normal UK delivery rules. More than that, or anything that has to talk to your till or your accounts, and I will quote it.
-
Something bigger
From £5,000 one-off
Booking systems, member areas, anything with real functionality behind it. Priced after we have talked about what it needs to do.
One-off work
No plan needed. Fixed prices, agreed before I start.
-
Small fix
£95 per job
Under an hour. A broken form, a plugin conflict, a page that has stopped working.
-
Hacked site sorted
£295 fixed
Brochure sites. Cleaned up and the way in closed; then watched for 30 days. The same infection coming back inside those 30 days is mine to fix, free.
-
Incident response
From £950 quoted
Where the site held customer data, or an insurer or a board needs the incident explained. Evidence preserved before anything is cleaned, then a written report.
-
Half a day
£250
Bigger changes, a batch of jobs saved up, or a proper look at why something is slow.
-
A full day
£450
New sections, migrations, anything that needs a run at it.
Being findable
Google Business Profile and local search. Deliberately fixed-scope rather than an open-ended retainer.
-
Local search setup
£495 one-off
Google Business Profile built out properly, your details made to match across 20 UK directories, the right markup on your site, a page for a service and a page for an area, and a way to ask customers for reviews. One verification attempt, walked through with you – appeals and suspensions are quoted separately, because nobody can fix-price those honestly.
-
Keeping it up
£125 a month
Added to any care plan. Every review replied to, up to ten a month, two posts, where you rank tracked, and a one-page report that tells you whether it is working.
Paying in stages
The price is split across the job rather than falling due in one lump. You pay half to start, and the rest on the day the site goes live.
- Half to start, half on the day it goes live.
- Shops split three ways across the build instead.
- The same total either way – staging it is free.
- The domain is in your name from day one, not mine.
- You own the site outright, from the first payment rather than the last.
What that looks like in practice
Three jobs, and where they got to.
Prices are easier to judge against real work than against a list. These are three of mine: what they cost, how long they have lasted, and all three are still going.

A finance broker
Eighteen case studies were sitting in a blog nobody read. I sorted them into categories and wired each service page to pull its own, so the invoice discounting page now shows invoice discounting work without anyone touching it.
£750for the build, then £95 a month to look after it
-
An art subscription service
I built them a live inventory system. Members choose the artwork they want for their next delivery, pay more for extra pieces, or stay on the curated tier and let the owners pick. It has handled every delivery since.
£3,300built in stages, priced as it grew

A yoga studio
Hosted, updated and backed up since 2023. They ring me if anything looks wrong. Nothing dramatic has ever happened to it, which is rather the point.

What changes the number
Every job is different, so any figure here – including the ones above – is a starting point rather than a promise. Four things move it, and none of them are a surprise once you know them.
- How many pages
- Five pages and fifteen pages are different amounts of work, mostly in the writing and the images rather than the building.
- Whether it sells or books
- Taking payments or bookings means more moving parts, and more that has to keep working afterwards.
- Whether the words and pictures exist
- Having them speeds things up. Starting without them is fine too, though it is the single most common reason a site takes longer than expected.
- What is already there
- Sometimes an existing site is worth keeping and improving, which is cheaper. Sometimes it is not, and I will say so rather than charge you to prop it up.
