What I do
Six things, and most people need one.
Most of my work is the first one – looking after sites that already exist. The rest are here because one person doing all of them means one person to ring, whatever it turns out to be.
Which one is yours
- The site works, and you want it to stay that way.
- Looking after your website
- Something is broken right now, or Google is warning people about it.
- Security and emergency fixes
- Your hosting is a login and good luck.
- Hosting
- It looks dated next to the competition, or it was built for a business you have outgrown.
- New websites
- You want to start selling online.
- Online shops
- People search for what you do, near where you are, and find somebody else.
- Being findable
-
Looking after your website
Updates, backups, monitoring, and someone to ring. It stops most of the problems above before they start.
-
Hosting
UK hosting with the site watched, rather than a login and good luck. Moving an existing site over is free and I do it out of hours.
-
Security and emergency fixes
Hacked, blacklisted, or showing a warning. I clean it up, work out how they got in, and close it.
-
New websites
Hand-built and fast on a phone. Yours to take elsewhere whenever you like.
-
Online shops
Taking payments, products, stock and delivery – all tested before anyone buys anything.
-
Being findable
Google Business Profile and local listings, plus honest answers about what will make a difference (and what is a waste of money).
And the things people ask for once they know me
A fair bit of my work sits outside websites. Five spreadsheets doing one job badly, rebuilt as one proper tool. Systems that talk to each other, so an order gets typed in once. Email that arrives and servers that stay up. Ask about anything like that. Worst case, I point you at someone better placed.
Every price is on the rates page.
